At Storm Hunter our mission is to help educate, guide, and bring awareness to those affected by natural disasters.
At Storm Hunter we envision an environment where more people are informed about taking action in protecting themselves and others around them in order to prevent more casualties during a natural disaster. We want to help the community to be safe, be alerted, and be relocated away from the danger.
Every year many people do not evacute or take shelter away from disasters causing many casualties that could be prevented. We wanted to take part in informing people about importance of being safe before, during, and after a disaster hits the area. Our team at Storm Hunter has worked on creating a great website which includes a crisis map to easily track disasters and find shelters. We also provide resources in which you can put forth the effort into donating to a local organizations as well as helping the community rebuild and recover.
We are the team at Storm Hunter. We are rising juniors and we participated in the Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program. We used our coding skills to help our community with something that we are passionate about. We all aspire to become software engineers in the future with the coding experiece we learned in Girls Who Code.
